The Specification Engineer at Henkel will focus on building and managing relationships with consultants, architects, and designers to drive product specifications and vendor registrations. This role supports the sales team through technical training, tools management, and field consultations, ensuring comprehensive project engagement from pre-sales through conversion.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage relationships with key consultants, architects, and designers to drive product specifications and increase project engagement.

Specify waterproofing solutions for upcoming projects and ensure inclusion in vendor lists to improve project win rates.

Provide technical and commercial support to key accounts by sharing product information and proposing tailored solutions.

Conduct training sessions and technical presentations to onboard partners on the company’s product portfolio.

Collaborate with sales and other departments to convert leads into business, support site visits, attend industry events, and contribute to social media efforts.

Support internal sales processes by managing tools, preparing reports and offers, analyzing data, and ensuring smooth use of digital sales platforms.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related technical discipline.

3–6 years of experience in technical specification, consultancy, or a construction-related role within the UAE market.

Proven experience within the UAE consultancy and specification environment with knowledge of local project processes.

Fluency in Arabic and English to communicate effectively with regional stakeholders.

Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and provide on-site support.

High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
