Talents Tide is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious government healthcare organization in Dubai for the position of Specialist – Patient Safety. This role is essential in enhancing patient safety protocols and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement within the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor patient safety programs and initiatives aligned with international best practices.

• Lead detailed analysis of patient safety incidents, near misses, and adverse events to identify root causes and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical and non-clinical staff, to improve safety procedures and mitigate risks.

• Act as a subject matter expert providing guidance, training, and mentorship on patient safety principles.

• Support the creation and update of policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance healthcare quality and safety.

• Conduct assessments of safety culture within healthcare facilities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage safety incident reporting and analyze performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness.

• Serve as a liaison between healthcare facilities and leadership, supporting the implementation of safety standards and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Information Management, Science, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare quality assurance or patient safety roles.

• At least 2 years’ experience leading or facilitating interdisciplinary improvement teams in healthcare environments.

• Deep understanding of patient safety frameworks, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement methodologies.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
