SEHA – Abu Dhabi Health Services is hiring a Specialist Child Psychiatrist for its Sakina program at Al Ain Hospital. This is a full-time, on-site role offering an opportunity to work in a highly specialized and well-established medical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating a variety of psychiatric conditions in children, as well as exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, nurses, and therapists.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and progress.

• Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatments.

• Stay current on advancements in child psychiatry and incorporate best practices into patient care.

• Comply with all medical laws, ethical standards, and organizational policies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Medical degree with successful completion of residency and specialization in Psychiatry, particularly Child Psychiatry.

• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility for licensure.

• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric illnesses in children.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• High degree of compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
