Job Title: Sous Chef 

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to oversee the sandwich section of our premium bakery in Dubai. This role will involve preparing gourmet sandwiches, wraps, and savory baked goods, contributing to a menu that combines innovative flavors and traditional baking techniques. You will collaborate with the Head Chef to develop exciting new recipes and seasonal offerings while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, portion control, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide range of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, and savory baked goods according to brand standards.

• Work closely with the Head Chef to create new sandwich recipes and seasonal items for the menu.

• Monitor food preparation techniques, portion sizes, and garnishing to ensure quality and consistency.

• Manage inventory and minimize waste by ensuring timely orders of fresh ingredients.

• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich section and kitchen area.

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of culinary experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie specializing in the sandwich or cold kitchen section.

• Strong knowledge of international sandwich preparation, excellent knife skills, and plating techniques.

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
