Sourcing Executive / Assistant Manager – Footwear & Apparel | Full-Time | Dubai, UAE

Lead innovative sourcing strategies for global footwear and apparel distribution.

Brand Folio LLC, a key regional distributor for an internationally renowned sportswear brand, is seeking an experienced Sourcing Executive / Assistant Manager with 3–5 years of industry-specific experience in either footwear or apparel sourcing. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who can drive supplier strategy, quality control, and cost optimization across a fast-moving retail supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Design and execute seasonal sourcing plans, aligning with launch calendars and Total Acquisition Cost (TAC) goals.

• Supplier Development & Management: Identify, assess, and build relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, capacity, and competitive pricing.

• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery, and terms, ensuring favorable, risk-mitigated agreements.

• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain product quality standards, addressing any non-compliance or performance gaps.

• Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement costs and drive initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining product excellence.

• Supply Chain Efficiency: Enhance sourcing operations by identifying efficiencies, reducing lead times, and streamlining vendor performance.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage supply risks, ensuring continuity in quality, compliance, and timelines.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education:

  • NIFT graduates (preferred) for Apparel sourcing

  • FDDI graduates (preferred) for Footwear sourcing

  • Degrees in Supply Chain or related disciplines also considered

• Experience: 3–5 years in sourcing/procurement roles within international brands or buying houses

• Key Skills:

  • Deep product knowledge: specifications, sizing, and grading

  • Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM or Coral software (preferred)

  • Strong analytical mindset and multitasking ability
