About the Role:

Following significant success in AI investments and growth, Cisco is expanding its AI Sales Team to meet increasing demand in the service provider (Neocloud) market. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the Cisco Sales team to deliver compelling technical presales solutions, helping customers and partners understand Cisco’s AI portfolio and how it differentiates from competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer and partner needs to effectively present Cisco’s Secure AI solutions

• Lead product demonstrations and technical workshops, addressing queries and showcasing Cisco technology

• Develop tailored presales technical solutions, analyze client requirements, and contribute to proposals

• Drive strategic sales initiatives, including customer outreach and channel training in targeted regions

• Maintain excellent interpersonal, presentation, and troubleshooting skills to inspire confidence in diverse audiences

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of technical presales experience, ideally with GPU-backed Compute, Storage, or Secure DC Networking solutions

• Proven track record selling into the Service Provider (SP) or Neocloud markets

• Practical knowledge of AI/ML technologies and language models (LLMs), including training and fine-tuning with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers

• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or Go for customization and automation

• Experience with AI infrastructure, including Networking (InfiniBand, RoCE), Storage (FC, IP, scale-out), and AI accelerators (GPUs)

• Strong presentation and value-selling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Advanced degree in Data Science is a plus)

• Deep understanding of Neocloud market dynamics, competitors, and emerging trends

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Ability to design scalable, secure cloud solutions, including virtual machines, serverless computing, and cloud services
