Job Purpose:

The Electrical Technician G2 will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components across the assigned facility. The role demands hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, inspections, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, control, and lighting systems

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand/power tools

• Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers and transformers

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment

• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems and update chilled water readings

• Manage fire alarm systems, BMS (Building Management System), and chilled water treatment

• Ensure proper layout and secure connection of wires and lighting systems

• Maintain tools, order required supplies, and ensure availability of materials

• Respond to emergencies promptly and resolve electrical issues

• Perform maintenance and repairs on motors, electric panels, and shop equipment

• Keep records of work done and ensure compliance with building standards

Required Skills:

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical instructions and safety protocols

• Proficient in using hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment

• Experience in maintaining electronic and mechanical systems

• Solid knowledge of commercial electrical systems, blueprints, and part catalogs

• Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing motors, and maintaining emergency generators

Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical Qualification in Electrical or related field

• 3–15 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or facility management

• Understanding of safety rules related to electrical work
