Virtucruit is seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to develop, implement, and optimize search engine strategies to drive organic growth. This full-time remote role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in both technical and content-driven SEO, capable of improving search visibility across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business and marketing goals.

Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap assessments.

Collaborate with content, creative, and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices.
On-Page Optimization

Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and site architecture.

Ensure adherence to SEO best practices for title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and images.

Work with copywriters to create SEO-friendly content that boosts engagement and conversions.
Technical SEO

Conduct technical site audits to identify crawl, indexation, and performance issues.

Collaborate with developers to resolve site speed, mobile responsiveness, redirects, canonicalization, and structured data issues.

Maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and schema markup.
Off-Page Optimization

Develop and execute link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority.

Manage outreach, partnerships, and digital PR initiatives for quality backlinks.

Monitor backlink profiles and ensure compliance with Google Webmaster Guidelines.
Performance Tracking & Reporting

Monitor SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Moz.

Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights.

Stay updated on algorithm changes, SEO trends, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven SEO, voice search).
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.

3-5 years of proven SEO experience; agency experience preferred.

Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.

Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for technical SEO.

Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Drupal).

Strong analytical, communication, project management, and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of content marketing, keyword intent, and SEO copywriting.
-
Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or SEO-specific platforms are a plus.
