PRG EMEA is seeking an experienced Senior Video Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dubai, playing a key role in delivering cutting-edge video technology solutions for live events, including concerts, corporate shows, and special productions. This hands-on role involves system design, technical preparation, onsite execution, and client-facing support in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and operate video systems for live event productions.

• Calculate server output, pixel counts, and processor loading for LED and projection projects.

• Maintain and update technical documentation and ensure software and licenses are current.

• Perform hardware/software testing and basic maintenance on video systems and components.

• Support project planning and equipment prep in collaboration with Video Operations Manager.

• Operate show video systems and troubleshoot technical issues during live events.

• Assist with equipment tracking, usage logs, and safe storage practices.

• Promote and practice safe working methods and comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Required Skills:

• Expert knowledge in projection, LED systems, camera, media server, and networking.

• Proficient in calculating video technical specifications (power, pixel, lux, etc.).

• Strong understanding of video system integration for large-scale live productions.

• Familiarity with rental inventory software (e.g., WinHits) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar video engineering role within the live events industry (mandatory).

• Proven track record in corporate, concert, and special events environment.

• Valid and clean driving license required.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
