We are seeking an experienced Senior Translator & Linguistic Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, editors, and subject matter experts, to ensure high-quality, accurate, and culturally appropriate translations. This role will focus on ensuring that translated content aligns with the company’s tone, style, and intended audience while maintaining linguistic accuracy and adhering to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration & Teamwork:
  Work closely with writers, editors, and subject matter experts to deliver translations that match the company’s tone, style, and intended audience.
  Engage in regular discussions with teams to ensure consistency in translations across various projects.

• Quality Control:
  Review and revise translated content thoroughly, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with the organization’s style and formatting guidelines.
  Conduct extensive terminological research to ensure the use of precise technical vocabulary and to build a comprehensive terminology database.

• Cultural Adaptation:
  Ensure translations are culturally sensitive and regionally appropriate for the intended recipients, adjusting content where necessary to suit local norms and values.

• Project Management:
  Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Advanced Technological Skills:
  Proficient in using translation software and tools to enhance speed and efficiency, while ensuring the accuracy of translations.
  Knowledge of CAT tools and other translation management platforms is a plus.

• Meticulous Attention to Detail:
  Strong proofreading skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring translations are flawless and retain the original meaning and style of the source material.

• Time Management & Organizational Skills:
  Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

• Cultural Awareness:
  Deep understanding of regional linguistic differences and cultural nuances, ensuring translations are contextually accurate and culturally relevant.

• Experience:
  Previous experience as a translator or linguistic specialist with a proven track record in producing high-quality translations for diverse industries.
