Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (Design) specializing in Bridge Design to join our growing infrastructure team in Dubai, UAE. This role requires a seasoned expert with deep knowledge of regional and international bridge design standards and extensive experience managing complex structural projects across the UAE/GCC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end structural design for a variety of bridge types: concrete, steel, precast, post-tensioned, etc.

• Deliver feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed structural design for large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Review and validate structural calculations, drawings, technical reports, and specifications to ensure compliance.

• Apply relevant codes and standards including AASHTO, Eurocodes, RTA, DM, and local UAE authorities.

• Coordinate across disciplines with geotechnical, roadway, and MEP engineering teams.

• Mentor junior engineers and CAD teams, providing technical leadership and quality assurance.

• Represent Egis in client meetings and provide clear technical presentations and design justifications.

• Monitor design timelines and ensure delivery within project schedules and budgets.

• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction, if required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

• Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in bridge design, particularly in UAE or GCC infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of international and local design codes, including AASHTO, Eurocodes, DM, and RTA.

• Expertise in structural design software such as STAAD Pro, MIDAS, LUSAS, RM Bridge, or equivalent.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, Civil 3D, and other design platforms.

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
