Join Morgan Consulting Engineers as a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design and construction supervision of complex building projects, particularly in healthcare and institutional facilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust, safe, and cost-effective structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis of reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures in line with project specifications, seismic requirements, and healthcare facility standards.

• Oversee preparation and review of design documentation, including structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and BOQs.

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with approved designs and codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, IBC).

• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors for seamless integration of structural systems with other building services.

• Review contractor submittals including shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.

• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure structural installation quality and safety.

• Resolve design and construction-related issues in collaboration with site teams.

• Prepare structural assessment reports and progress updates for stakeholders.

• Support value engineering initiatives and recommend design optimizations.

• Participate in project meetings, design coordination sessions, and authority submissions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, particularly in healthcare, hospital, or large-scale institutional projects.

• Proven leadership in structural design and construction supervision of complex projects.

• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software.

• In-depth knowledge of local and international structural codes and standards.

• Experience in seismic design, foundation systems, and complex building detailing.

• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, project delivery processes, and consultant coordination.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) registration preferred.

• Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working on-site in the GCC region or similar environments is a plus.
