Job Title: Senior Sous Chef 

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Sous Chef with extensive experience in traditional and modern Lebanese and Turkish cuisine, especially in grill and kebab preparations, to join our culinary leadership team. This role requires deep cultural understanding, strong kitchen leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while upholding the authenticity and excellence of Mediterranean and Levantine culinary traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of daily kitchen operations in coordination with the Executive Chef.

  • Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high-quality output.

  • Ensure all dishes maintain authentic Lebanese and Turkish flavors, presentation, and standards.

  • Innovate new menu items while preserving traditional culinary roots and customer preferences.

  • Monitor inventory, food costs, and kitchen supply management to minimize waste and stay within budget.

  • Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP protocols.

  • Adjust food production based on demand, customer feedback, and event schedules.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.

  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef, maintaining operations and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a sous or senior chef position.

  • Specialized knowledge in grill and kebab techniques and Mediterranean culinary trends.

  • Culinary degree or professional training is preferred.

  • Expertise in food styling, menu development, and kitchen organization.

  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.

  • Understanding of HACCP principles, proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices.

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.

  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
