Genesis Healthcare is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their team in the UAE. This position involves overseeing and supporting social work practice initiatives across nursing centers. The role includes ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, supporting social work practices, and maintaining high standards of care. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the education, supervision, and outcomes of Social Workers within a defined geography.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines, Genesis policies, and regulations.

• Plan, develop, and evaluate Social Work operations in alignment with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.

• Foster an environment that maximizes patient individuality, independence, and dignity.

• Support long-term care practices with a focus on quality of life for residents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school.

• Required state certifications/licensures for long-term care.

• Must possess a driver’s license and be willing to travel.

• Experience with aging services, programs, and policies, and knowledge of social, emotional, and financial challenges in long-term care.
