Subsea7 is hiring a Senior SCM Specialist (Topsides Piping) to join its Dubai office on a staff basis. Reporting to the Project SCM Manager within the GPC East unit, the role is focused on managing procurement of engineered materials and services for oil & gas projects. The position requires strong expertise in Aramco topside piping works and ensures procurement activities meet technical, safety, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. The specialist will support both local and global SCM strategies while promoting cost efficiency, HSEQ standards, and an ethical culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement, from issuing RFQs to contract close-out.

• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, QC & HSE to prepare tender documents and ensure all requirements are included.

• Review, clarify, and evaluate bids covering technical, commercial, contractual, quality, and HSE aspects.

• Lead negotiations to secure best value and finalize supplier selection.

• Prepare and manage contracts, purchase orders, and supplier commitments using SAP/S4HANA and Ariba.

• Monitor supplier performance, schedules, budgets, and resolve delays or issues.

• Collaborate with Package Managers, Technical Owners, and Quality teams to ensure successful delivery.

• Manage logistics, documentation, and invoicing processes.

• Conduct audits, supplier performance evaluations, and lessons learned reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in oil & gas projects.

• Strong knowledge of Aramco SCM processes and topside piping procurement, including bulk valves and fittings.

• Hands-on experience with SAP/S4HANA and Ariba platforms.

• Cost-conscious with strong commercial and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of offshore industry practices and complex procurement requirements.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
