Job Title: Senior Sales Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Sales Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in diesel generator sales, particularly within the African market. The ideal candidate is a strategic and results-driven professional with deep market insights and a proven ability to drive growth through strong client relationships and tailored sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s footprint across Africa.

Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within target territories.

Deliver comprehensive product information to customers before and after the sale to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Conduct detailed market analysis and competitor benchmarking to refine sales tactics.

Prepare compelling proposals, conduct presentations, and negotiate sales contracts.

Collaborate with marketing for tailored campaigns, and represent the brand at seminars, trade fairs, and exhibitions.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and communication.

Report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior leadership.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering field.

3–5 years of proven sales experience in diesel generators or related power systems.

Strong understanding of the African industrial and commercial landscape.

Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Ability to travel as needed for business development and client meetings.
