Senior Sales Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa

  • Cloudflare is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive exceptional sales growth across the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Account Executives, helping to scale new business revenues while focusing on strategic market expansion, product adoption, and channel relationships. The role involves managing high-velocity sales pipelines, developing Go-To-Market strategies, and building strong partnerships within the cybersecurity and SaaS/Cloud sectors. A successful track record in sales leadership and market development is required, particularly in the SSA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives.

  • Provide day-to-day deal support and guidance for AEs.

  • Source, interview, and recruit top sales talent.

  • Manage and report on sales KPIs and forecast performance.

  • Define and implement Sales Go-To-Market strategies across SSA markets.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews and optimize sales processes.

  • Drive brand awareness and revenue growth in target markets.

  • Foster strategic partnerships with customer and partner executives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 20 years of sales experience, with at least 10 years focused on the SSA region.

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of quota-carrying sales reps.

  • Proven track record of selling complex solutions in the SaaS/Cloud/Cybersecurity space.

  • Strong experience in pipeline management, Go-To-Market strategies, and rapid growth execution.

  • Established relationships within the Cybersecurity and SaaS/Cloud sectors in SSA.

  • Fluency in English; French is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MIS preferred.
