Mashreq is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager – Business Banking to join its expanding team in the UAE. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a motivated banking professional with experience in small enterprise (SE) relationship management. The role involves managing a portfolio of existing business clients while actively sourcing new-to-bank customers, cross-selling financial products, and maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a portfolio of Small Enterprise (SE) banking clients.

Actively source new clients from business communities and walk-ins.

Upsell, deep-sell, and cross-sell banking products including FX, trade working capital, insurance, and investments.

Transition relationships smoothly from Direct Sales and Medium Enterprise teams.

Conduct customer profiling to identify upgrade opportunities to ME segment.

Ensure high-quality portfolio management including KYC reviews and AML compliance.

Perform annual and periodic credit reviews and recommend credit facilities as per policy.

Ensure complete and timely documentation, client visits, stock inspections, and credit checks.

Liaise with Risk Management, other business units, and internal stakeholders to meet business goals.

Train and mentor Senior Sales Officers (SSOs) to develop future relationship managers.

Monitor account conduct and resolve credit-related issues promptly.

Provide regular reports and updates to Branch Manager and Regional SE Manager.

Adhere strictly to internal compliance, regulatory, and governance policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

University graduate (preferably in Finance, Banking, or Mathematics).

At least 5 years of experience in business banking as a Relationship Officer or Manager.

Strong knowledge of business banking products including FX, trade finance, insurance, and investments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer-focused with a proactive service attitude.

Proficient in MS Office and general computer applications.
