Amazon is hiring a Senior Regional Health Manager to join its Global Medical and Health (GMH) Team within the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) division. Based in Dubai, this full-time role plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing the delivery of Occupational Health (OH) services across the Africa, Middle East, and Turkey (AMET) region. You will be responsible for ensuring employee health and well-being across regional operations, in compliance with both Amazon’s global standards and local health regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategically manage Occupational Health services across the AMET region, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellence in health support.

Act as the subject matter expert for occupational health, advising internal teams and coordinating with external health authorities.

Ensure compliance with evolving workplace health legislation and align with Amazon’s safety policies.

Analyze and report health metrics to the GMH leadership, identifying areas for improvement.

Lead the development of preventative health programs to address physical and psychosocial workplace risks.

Drive cross-functional health initiatives and serve as the primary advisor on regional health strategies.
About the Team:
The Global Medical & Health Team designs and manages innovative health programs across Amazon’s global operations. This team leverages data and best practices to improve occupational health outcomes and create a resilient, safe work environment for all employees.
Required Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Clinical experience and deep knowledge of occupational health regulations in the AMET region.

Proven leadership in occupational health service management.

Expertise in injury prevention, emergency response, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and psychosocial risks.

Ability to work cross-functionally and analyze data to drive health improvements.

Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or specialization in Occupational Health/Medicine.

Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or production environments.

Advanced training in ergonomics, environmental risks, or psychosocial risk management.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
