Role Overview

Ashbrittle is recruiting on behalf of a leading international construction consultancy for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Surveyor to join their Dubai office.

This is a key opportunity for a commercially and contractually astute professional seeking to advance their career in claims and dispute resolution within a highly regarded international organization. Key Responsibilities

• Review project records, contractual documentation, and time impact analyses to assess the validity of claim submissions.

• Develop structured and well-supported claim narratives in collaboration with site-based project teams.

• Provide detailed analysis of delay, disruption, and cost-related claims.

• Negotiate claims and variations with employer and client representatives.

• Support contract administration activities in line with project and contractual requirements.

• Deliver clear commercial reporting and advisory support to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Proven stable experience with Tier 1 main contractors or specialist claims consultancies.

• Strong contractual and commercial knowledge (FIDIC experience preferred).

• Middle East project experience is advantageous.

• MRICS and/or MCIArb accreditation (or actively pursuing membership) preferred.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
