Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation and project budgeting for high-end joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bespoke joinery, construction processes, and tendering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.

• Review technical drawings and architectural plans to extract quantities and relevant data.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure estimates reflect practical and cost-effective solutions.

• Generate Bills of Quantities, scopes of work, and cost breakdowns.

• Track and report on project costs, identifying variances and forecasting budgets.

• Assess risks and opportunities to maintain value for the client and the business.

• Participate in contract negotiations, client presentations, and final account settlements.

• Ensure timely and professional close-out of project documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimation within joinery, fit-out, or construction industries.

• Strong technical understanding of bespoke joinery materials and installation methods.

• Proficient in interpreting architectural and technical drawings.

• Skilled in estimating software such as Candy, ConQuest, or Excel.

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
