The Senior Project Manager – MEP (M3) at Mace will lead the MEP team in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high safety and quality standards. The role involves overseeing the full delivery lifecycle, from procurement and design reviews to commissioning and close-out, with a focus on ensuring the successful management of MEP services and coordination with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP team, demonstrating professional and respectful behaviors.

• Oversee the successful delivery of MEP services, including programme management, safety, and quality.

• Coordinate with key project stakeholders (clients, consultants, trade contractors, etc.).

• Lead the tendering process and support the bid teams with technical and commercial input.

• Establish procurement strategies and manage the delivery of specialist packages.

• Review contracts and scope, assist with budget preparation, value engineering, and resolve issues.

• Ensure compliance with Mace operating frameworks and strategic priorities (prefabrication, commissioning, safety).

• Oversee design reviews to ensure compliance with RIBA and BSRIA frameworks, including embodied carbon and energy considerations.

• Develop project strategies, plans, and programmes, ensuring milestones and dependencies are met.

• Implement commissioning strategies in line with Mace’s standards.

• Use digital technologies for productivity assessments and to ensure project is on schedule.

• Manage project close-out, ensuring high standards in commissioning, drawings, and client training.

• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans, driving continuous improvement.

• Lead and coach a team of professionals to deliver excellence.

• Contribute to the goal of net-zero carbon transition by managing associated emissions and reductions.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience leading MEP teams on major projects in the UAE.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.

• Preferred professional registration (CIBSE, IMechE, MEIT, PMI).

• Experience managing multiple MEP work packages simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade/Technical Engineering apprenticeship or Graduate development programme.

• Formal Engineering training (HNC, HND, BTEC, or equivalent).

• SMSTS and CSCS card.
