Senior Planner – Project Controls

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join KEO’s team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for cost analysis, control, and planning/scheduling activities supporting the Project Manager for a variety of projects. Your role will involve undertaking regular project analysis, maintaining schedules, identifying impacts, developing recovery plans, and providing solutions to planning and cost engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake project analysis, control activities, and schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Identify impacts, create recovery plans, and support project organizational and administrative tasks.
• Provide cost planning, scheduling guidance, and innovative solutions for planning/scheduling issues.
• Execute Project Controls programs in accordance with KEO’s procedures.
• Review and approve Earned Revenue Determination Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, and Project Financial Status Reports.
• Plan staffing needs for assigned projects and ensure contract drafts meet cost and scope definitions.
• Prepare, coordinate, and direct project controls presentations for KEO and client management.
• Prepare project controls plans for assigned projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 12 years of relevant experience, with expertise in warehouses, light industrial units, and infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Experience with Extension of Time (EOT) and arbitration is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.
• Must be based in the UAE due to client preference for in-person interviews.
