McDermott International is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead and execute engineering design, analysis, and project support for onshore and offshore pipeline systems. The role demands hands-on experience with pipeline design codes, software, and multi-disciplinary collaboration to ensure project delivery meets specifications, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform engineering design, FEED, and detailed analyses for pipeline systems per project specs and industry standards.

Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and documentation.

Identify and manage changes in project scope, and assist in bid and variation order preparation.

Participate in project, vendor, and engineering meetings; support offshore surveys as needed.

Lead technical reviews, provide guidance to junior engineers, and ensure discipline compliance.

Support procurement with technical evaluations and vendor communications.

Review vendor/subcontractor submissions and resolve fabrication queries.
-
Conduct design verification and risk assessments including pipeline stress, stability, and seismic analyses.

Maintain project documentation and capture lessons learned.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).

8-15 years of pipeline engineering experience in oil and gas projects with major contractors or consultancies.

Strong knowledge of pipeline design codes, engineering software, and analysis techniques.

Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent is preferred.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.

HSE awareness and commitment to quality and cost-efficiency.
