The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) is hiring a Senior Payroll Officer (UAE Nationals only) to manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and WPS requirements. The role involves handling payroll systems, maintaining employee records, and ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing of payroll transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time in compliance with UAE labor laws and WPS.

• Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and related documentation.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.

• Coordinate with HR and Finance departments regarding salary adjustments, allowances, and deductions.

• Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and leave balances.

• Generate payroll reports and provide data for audits and management reviews.

• Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to organizational standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• 0–3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and WPS system.

• Experience with payroll software and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• High level of confidentiality and professional integrity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
