Messe Frankfurt Middle East is hiring a Senior Operations Manager to join their high-performing team and help deliver world-class experiences across their exhibition portfolio. This hands-on leadership role requires extensive experience in event operations, managing complex events, and leading a team to ensure seamless exhibition execution in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations & Project Management: Plan and execute pre-show, onsite, and post-show operations for exhibitions in the UAE and KSA. Coordinate with internal teams on timelines, layouts, and deliverables.

• Supplier & Partner Management: Lead relationships with contractors, venues, and third-party suppliers. Negotiate contracts and monitor service levels.

• People & Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Operations Coordinators, setting KPIs and supporting their growth in high-pressure environments.

• Event Delivery: Oversee logistics for event build and dismantle, manage venue compliance, and deliver event features like conferences and VIP lounges.

• Financial Oversight: Track budgets, procurement, and spending. Provide post-show reporting to identify efficiencies and future innovations.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of operations experience in the exhibitions industry, preferably in the UAE/KSA.

• Proven ability to manage complex events, venue partners, and multiple suppliers.

• Strong knowledge of event logistics, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead calmly under pressure and pivot when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Expertise in event logistics and supplier management.

• Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
