Role Overview
Chalhoub Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager – Joint Venture & Strategic Finance to lead financial oversight, performance management, and governance across joint venture and strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, this role plays a critical part in driving financial excellence, sustainable growth, and value creation within a complex, multi-brand luxury retail ecosystem.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, ensuring robust financial planning, compliance, and risk management while supporting long-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Joint Venture & Strategic Financial Oversight

Lead financial governance, performance monitoring, and reporting for joint venture entities

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with JV agreements, commercial terms, and financial objectives

Evaluate JV financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations
Financial Planning & Analysis

Own and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes

Perform in-depth financial and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making

Deliver actionable insights to improve profitability, efficiency, and return on investment
Reporting, Governance & Compliance

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal group standards

Prepare senior management reports, executive dashboards, board materials, and investor updates

Oversee tax compliance, statutory requirements, and corporate governance frameworks
Risk Management & Controls

Identify financial and operational risks and implement effective mitigation controls

Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support business continuity and growth initiatives

Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings
Systems, Processes & Transformation

Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and reporting processes

Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance data integrity, automation, and efficiency

Support digital finance initiatives aligned with Chalhoub Group’s innovation agenda
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
-
Professional qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or MBA)

8+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior-level responsibilities

Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and performance management
-
Experience within retail, luxury, consumer, or multi-entity environments is an advantage

Exposure to joint ventures, partnerships, or complex stakeholder structures preferred
