Job Title: Senior Manager 

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager – Managerial Accounting for one of Sudan’s oldest and most reputable Islamic banks. This key role will involve overseeing the bank’s performance analysis, profitability analysis, budgeting, and financial systems development. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in managing and improving financial processes to ensure efficient operations and the achievement of strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare periodic managerial packages analyzing bank performance, comparing actual results with budget, and analyzing market share trends and profitability within various business sectors and branches.

• Design and prepare profitability analysis for different business sectors, products, and branches by implementing best practices for cost allocation and funds transfer pricing (FTP) methods.

• Design and oversee the bank’s budgeting process, ensuring coordination and collaboration with all bank units to align with business objectives and financial targets.

• Develop and implement financial systems and procedures that improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis across the bank.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations and recommend strategies to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Salary: Up to 8K USD all-inclusive, based on experience and qualifications

• Location: Sudan

Preferred Qualifications:

• Nationality: Open to all Arab nationalities, including GCC countries.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in the financial and banking sector, with a preference for experience in international banking.

• Ability to implement and manage best-practice management and leadership styles to lead teams effectively.
