Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance across employment, labour, and corporate compliance matters within the UAE, KSA, and other GCC jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in contract law, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border compliance, with a strong focus on employment legislation and commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on employment and labour law across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and wider GCC regions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and employment-related contracts including partnership, subcontracting, and service-level agreements.

• Ensure end-to-end legal compliance with regional labour laws, internal policies, and industry-specific regulations.

• Lead data protection and privacy compliance initiatives in accordance with DIFC, ADGM, GDPR-equivalent, and other regional standards.

• Oversee contract compliance management systems and databases to mitigate legal and regulatory risk.

• Advise HR on employment-related legal matters including terminations, disputes, investigations, and policy enforcement.

• Liaise with external legal counsel on complex disputes and litigation, as required.

• Support legal documentation for business development activities including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.

• Manage legal filings and compliance across key regulatory bodies and free zones such as DIFC, DMCC, JAFZA, ADGM, TECOM, etc.

• Collaborate with internal teams (HR, Finance, Ops, BD) by providing practical legal advice and risk assessments.

• Conduct internal legal training sessions to raise awareness of legal obligations and best practices.

• Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics in all legal dealings.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); Master’s Degree (LLM) is preferred

• Minimum of 10 years’ legal experience in corporate legal advisory, ideally within the GCC

• Strong knowledge of UAE and wider GCC labour/employment laws and regulatory landscapes

• Proven track record in managing legal compliance programs and data protection policies

• Familiarity with free zone regulations (DIFC, DMCC, ADGM, JAFZA, TECOM)

• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple legal matters across jurisdictions and teams

• High attention to detail with sound legal judgment
