Job Title: Senior Joinery Estimator & Draftsman

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Joinery Estimator & Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed BOQs, estimates, and technical drawings for joinery works including kitchen cabinets, vanity counters, wardrobes, and loose furniture. You will play a crucial role in ensuring project specifications are met and maintaining high-quality standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Liaise with the project department and factory teams to gather clear specifications based on shop drawings.

• BOQ and Estimation: Prepare accurate estimates for material requirements as per approved drawings for planning, organizing, and budgeting purposes.

• Measurement and Valuation: Measure and value work to ensure compliance with contract agreements and authorize project payments.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Operation Manager, Factory Manager, Factory In-Charge, and Site Coordinator to streamline processes.

• Drawing Management: Review, modify, and create 2D and 3D shop drawings based on daily site activities and evolving client requirements.

• Client Requirements: Capture and translate client needs into actionable shop drawings for project implementation.

• Document Control: Maintain an organized soft copy archive of all drawings for future reference.

• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

• Flexibility: Take on any additional tasks as assigned by management.

Skills & Requirements:

• Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with accountability for assigned tasks.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and empower others.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in creating and modifying detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings.

• Experience: 8–10 years of relevant experience in the joinery/fit-out industry.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in a relevant field.

• Location: Must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates.
