Senior Internal Communications Specialist
Philip Morris International Dubai , UAE

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Internal Communications Specialist to join its team in Dubai. This is an on-site, full-time role focusing on enhancing employee engagement, transparency, and community within the Middle East (ME) cluster.

PMI is a global organization with over 73,500 employees speaking 80+ languages, dedicated to delivering a smoke-free future. This role will support the Communications Director in developing and executing a dynamic internal communications strategy that supports business goals and fosters a strong internal culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Shape the internal communications plan using employee feedback, data, and strategic objectives.

  • Content Development: Create and manage internal content across platforms such as newsletters, One ME, Viva Engage, and executive communications.

  • Campaign & Event Management: Lead communication campaigns and support internal events like town halls, social events, and volunteer programs.

  • Digital Asset Creation: Design visual content including infographics and videos to support messaging.

  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate with the P&C team to support employee listening activities and drive engagement initiatives.

  • Project Leadership: Lead internal engagement and communication projects addressing employee needs and feedback.

  • Performance Reporting: Track KPIs and provide insights on communication effectiveness, engagement, and campaign performance.

  • Sustainability Coordination: Assist in the governance and execution of sustainability communication in alignment with global standards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regional and global teams, and provide communication best practices to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in internal communications, preferably within a multinational organization.

  • Skills:

    • Strong writing skills for executive communications

    • Expertise in managing internal content platforms

    • Event planning and campaign execution

    • Strategic thinking and stakeholder management

    • Native or excellent English proficiency (written and spoken)
