Senior HR Business Partner
Clifford Chance Dubai , UAE

Clifford Chance is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to lead and execute the firm’s people and talent strategy in alignment with business priorities. This role focuses on partnering with leadership teams to develop HR initiatives, drive talent management processes, and enhance employee engagement across the organization. The Senior HR Business Partner will work closely with HR colleagues, manage a team, and support strategic HR projects to drive organizational growth and employee development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with regional practice area and business function strategies.

  • Partner with leadership to shape talent management processes, including succession planning, resourcing, and career development.

  • Advise senior stakeholders on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.

  • Lead HR projects related to organizational design, employee wellbeing, and inclusion.

  • Oversee compensation processes and provide insights into market trends and internal equity.

  • Manage early talent recruitment and development strategies, including trainees and new joiner induction.

  • Utilize data and analytics to support decision-making and enhance people processes.

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and local legal requirements.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion and wellbeing, aligning initiatives with regional and global objectives.

Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a professional services organization.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR initiatives that drive business performance.

  • Knowledge of talent management, employee relations, and performance management processes.

  • Experience in working within a matrixed or global environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with HR data analytics and driving change through insights.

Qualifications:

  • Formal HR qualifications (e.g., CIPD or equivalent) preferred.

  • Proven operational and strategic HR experience with a focus on talent strategy and employee development.
