Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fund Accountant to join our team in the UAE. This role requires specialized experience in trust fund accounting and is not a general accounting position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, investor communications, tax compliance, and regulatory filings for a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle client inquiries related to fund accounting and financial matters.

Liaise with regulators, banks, auditors, and other service providers.

Prepare and review financial statements, investor reports, and fund reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements and local regulations.

Manage capital calls, equalization workings, and tax filings (quarterly and annual).

Oversee audit processes, ensuring timely completion.

Maintain accurate general ledgers and accounting records.

Review and authorize payment instructions as per internal validation protocols.

Supervise and mentor Fund Accountants, providing guidance and training.

Monitor internal compliance reports and escalate breaches when necessary.

Ensure timely invoicing and internal reporting.

Maintain high levels of client service and satisfaction.

Perform other ad-hoc accounting functions as required.
Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting (not general accounting).

Relevant professional qualification or the ability to work toward one.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations, principles, and reporting standards.

High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
Salary & Benefits:
-
Salary: AED 15,000 – 22,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
