Job Title: Senior Finance & Accounting Associate
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Finance & Accounting Associate to join our internal finance team in the United Arab Emirates. In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will be responsible for supporting core accounting operations, managing reporting tasks, and contributing to various financial and CRM system implementations across the Rethink Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for a CA/ACCA-qualified professional with 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and exposure to ERP systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with VAT and IFRS, and seamless coordination between finance and client-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and publish financial reconciliations and internal reports for cross-departmental use.

Support the month-end close process and ensure timely internal financial reporting.

Assist with accounts receivable management and timely invoicing processes.

Prepare monthly/quarterly CRM and financial analysis reports for senior management.

Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, providing data and analytical insights.

Support client onboarding, proposal development, and relationship management alongside client-facing teams.

Assist in reviewing contracts, systems, and accounting procedures to optimize invoicing accuracy and efficiency.

Contribute to CRM, project management, and accounting system implementations, including data migration.

Build custom Excel-based reports for various departments based on evolving business needs.

Stay current with changes in Corporate Tax, VAT, and IFRS and assess their implications for internal processes.

Handle VAT compliance tasks, including filings and outsourced team training.

Assist Finance Managers with utilization forecasts and process improvements.

Support the development and rollout of internal policies and procedures.

Collaborate with the CRM team on ongoing administrative and data tasks.

Undertake other ad-hoc finance and systems-related duties as needed.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification with 3–6 years of professional experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).

Familiarity with ERP software such as Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Strong technical, analytical, and systems capabilities.

Based in the United Arab Emirates.
