Avery Dennison, a global leader in materials science and manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Executive – Procurement to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time, on-site position suited for professionals with a strong background in procurement and sourcing strategies.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing short, mid, and long-term strategic procurement goals across Direct, Subcontracting, and Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) categories. The position also involves leading procurement initiatives that drive cost savings and operational efficiency, while ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement goals and objectives for Direct, Subcontracting, and IM&S categories.

• Improve procurement processes, including market analysis, strategy sourcing, negotiation, and contract approvals.

• Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities through local and regional consolidation projects.

• Oversee procurement systems and ensure optimal use of procurement platforms.

• Manage procurement teams involved in sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and support activities.

• Mentor and develop staff by offering training, coaching, and job rotation opportunities.

• Monitor supplier performance, address issues with corrective action plans, and maintain a strong supplier pool.

• Ensure subcontractors comply with company policies in coordination with the Global Compliance Team.

• Analyze cost drivers and benchmark products to identify consolidation opportunities.

• Provide procurement support for related cross-functional projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in procurement.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, especially at the executive level.

• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.

• Demonstrated strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.

• Experience with modern procurement and sourcing systems.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
