Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-reputed Food Manufacturing Company in the UAE. They are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Planning to oversee and optimize production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation in their food processing facility. The role requires expertise in short-term and medium-term production planning, SAP system management, and adherence to KPIs in a multinational FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling:

Develop and maintain short-term and medium-term production plans, ensuring optimal capacity utilization and resource allocation.

Monitor daily production execution and adjust plans for delays or advancements.
-
Align production schedules with maintenance and operations teams.
-
Open and manage production orders in SAP (versions Z3/Z1/Z5) on a daily basis.
-
Track and manage monthly order backlogs to ensure on-time fulfillment.
Inventory & Material Management:
-
Monitor raw material, packaging, and ingredient inventory to ensure availability for uninterrupted production.

Analyze stock levels and expiry dates, prioritizing materials nearing shelf-life expiration.

Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) for new or reformulated products.

Manage inventory turnover rates and generate reports for management review.
Demand & Supply Coordination:

Assess sales demand versus finished goods stock and adjust production plans accordingly.

Ensure that all necessary resources (materials, manpower, equipment) are available before releasing production plans.
SAP & Data Management:

Maintain and update production versions in SAP and communicate changes to production and controlling teams.

Track and report on production plan adherence KPIs.
Compliance & Training:

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.

Train new staff on production planning processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in production planning in the food processing industry, with 3+ years in a planning department within a multinational company.

Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP (Production Planning modules), strong analytical skills in inventory turnover, demand forecasting, and capacity planning.

Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, problem-solving mindset to handle production delays and material shortages.
