The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is responsible for planning and providing an integrated transport system in Dubai. The Senior Driver Examiner ensures that driving tests are conducted fairly and in accordance with established guidelines, policies, and procedures. This role involves evaluating applicants, maintaining compliance with traffic laws, and ensuring the integrity of the licensing process.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with procedures before an applicant takes the driving test.
• Provide information to the public on obtaining a driving license.
• Conduct rate analysis of examiner ratings to ensure fairness.
• Inform applicants of their test results and provide feedback on improvement areas.
• Orient new examiners on driving test procedures.
• Verify applicant files for compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide theoretical and practical guidance to examiners.
• Conduct random checks to ensure examiners follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of applicant files for analysis.
• Conduct driving tests and ensure fairness before approving passing applicants.
• Handle applicants professionally when they do not pass the test.
• Train examiners on practical aspects of conducting driving tests.
• Adhere to RTA Information Security policies and procedures.
• Report any Information Security incidents to management and IT support.
• Participate in Information Security training and awareness sessions.

Skills Required:

• High School with 5 years of experience, Diploma with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong communication and execution skills.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations and licensing policies.
• Familiarity with Dubai driver’s license laws and regulations.
• Ability to administer and evaluate driving tests.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
