Maxtherm Group, established in 2019 in Dubai, specializes in Design & Engineering, Steel Fabrication, and Installation & Maintenance. The company is seeking a Senior Draftsman (Interior Fit-out & Joinery) to create detailed drawings and plans for steel structures and interior projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and oversee project implementation to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
– Generate submission drawings for steel structures based on site conditions or design calculations.
– Create detailed shop and production drawings, including bolt layout and weld details.
– Utilize Tekla for 3D modeling and clash detection, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
– Update designs based on engineer feedback, maintaining version control.
– Coordinate with engineers and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
– Conduct self-checks and cross-checks for accuracy.
– Mentor junior draftsmen and manage drawing logs and document control.
– Prepare shop drawings based on architectural and structural plans.
– Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
– Apply construction methods, building standards, and engineering principles.
– Generate as-built drawings for submission.
Requirements:
– Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
– Experience: Minimum 5 years of drafting experience, with 2+ years in UAE projects.
– Technical Skills:
– Expertise in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.
– Strong understanding of steel detailing, welding standards, and fabrication norms.
– Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
– Soft Skills:
– Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.
– High accuracy and attention to detail.
