Ankura is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to join its Construction Disputes & Advisory team based in Dubai. This role will support Ankura’s Construction Advisory unit, which is part of a globally recognized practice specializing in advising clients on complex construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic consulting services for major construction and infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.

Develop and execute turnaround strategies for projects in distress.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.

Actively contribute to business development, marketing, and firm-wide visibility efforts.

Collaborate across Ankura’s practices to deliver integrated client solutions.
-
Mentor junior consultants and support team development.
-
Contribute to the creation and refinement of service offerings within the Construction Advisory space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-
Strong background in Management Consulting, preferably from Big 4 firms.

Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.

Professional certifications such as RICS, ICE, PMP, or MAPM.
-
Demonstrated Program Management experience on large-scale infrastructure/construction projects in the GCC, particularly Saudi Arabia.

Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.

Broad sector experience (e.g. Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Transportation, Public Works).

Proficiency in Project Controls, Governance, Commercial Management, Feasibility Analysis, and Dispute Avoidance.

Hands-on experience with planning tools and data analytics (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Proven ability to lead small teams and support talent development.

Business development acumen and ability to generate and nurture leads.

Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Agile, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic work environments.
