Role Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Design Manager to lead the design process for large, multidisciplinary projects. This role involves overseeing all design phases, ensuring high-quality deliverables, maintaining client satisfaction, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership: Oversee all design phases, from project set-up to weekly coordination meetings, ensuring adherence to project goals.

Project Management: Develop project schedules, staffing, work plans, and coordinate with team members and sub-consultants.

Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate design risks to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality Control: Ensure design standards and QAQC procedures are followed for high-quality design and documentation.

Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact, ensuring client needs are met and maintaining positive relationships for future projects.

Team Leadership: Manage the performance of the design team, fostering collaboration and delivering high-quality design outcomes.

Financial Management: Track project performance and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Compliance: Ensure ISO 9001 compliance throughout the project lifecycle, promoting technical excellence.
Qualifications:

Experience: 12+ years in design management, with a focus on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (Master’s preferred).

Certifications: AIA or RIBA certification is a plus.

Licensing: Licensed as a Professional Architect or Engineer by an internationally recognized association.

Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an understanding of design software like Revit and AutoCAD.

Leadership: Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage stakeholders.
