Chainlink is a pioneer in blockchain innovation, powering decentralized applications across finance, gaming, trade, and more in partnership with global organizations like SWIFT, DTCC, and Aave.

This high-impact role sits at the crossroads of blockchain technology, economic systems, and data science. The analyst will lead economic modeling, network design optimization, and data-driven decision-making to support executive leadership and the broader economics team. You’ll be shaping the future of the world’s first fully decentralized and sustainable oracle network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze blockchain incentive systems and economic models

• Lead quantitative research projects in blockchain economics and financial systems

• Support product and network parameterization for Chainlink production applications

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, research, and product teams

• Build and maintain systems for data analysis, model automation, and process optimization

• Conduct simulations, economic modeling, and contribute to tokenomics design

Requirements:

• 5+ years in quantitative roles (e.g., trading, quant research)

• Strong experience in financial modeling, data engineering, and automation

• Deep understanding of financial/crypto markets and economic incentives

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python

• Demonstrated experience in solving economic/statistical problems using data

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline

• Background in smart contracts or dApp architecture (Solidity, Rust, Go preferred)

• Research publications in crypto economics or DeFi topics

• Strong organizational skills to support operationalization of processes
