Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead the protection of our organization’s digital assets. In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, this role is vital to safeguarding sensitive data, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring operational continuity.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies, along with strong leadership, incident response, and analytical capabilities. This position plays a crucial role in preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber threats while supporting compliance and risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM systems to detect potential threats and breaches

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security gaps

• Deploy and manage cybersecurity tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and antivirus solutions

• Create and enforce organization-wide security policies, standards, and procedures

• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation

• Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and safe digital practices

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and timely updates

• Prepare detailed security reports for compliance, audit, and executive briefings

• Stay abreast of emerging threats, attack techniques, and cybersecurity innovations

• Support the development of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

• Male candidates currently residing in India or the UAE

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent

• 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, and risk management

• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical information

• Experience in secure coding (Python, Java preferred) and network protocols

• Solid knowledge of data protection laws, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and risk assessment methodologies

• Ethical mindset and strict adherence to confidentiality
