Senior Coordinator Logistics

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Logistics Coordinator to support day-to-day logistics and reverse logistics operations within a leading luxury retail organization in Dubai. This role is key to ensuring efficient shipment coordination, accurate inventory tracking, and smooth handling of returns across the supply chain.

You will work closely with internal teams, stores, and external partners to maintain operational efficiency and deliver a seamless logistics experience.


Key Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and retail stores
  • Track delivery status and ensure timely updates to stakeholders
  • Monitor logistics performance and support KPI tracking

Reverse Logistics & Inventory

  • Process product returns and disposals in line with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and returns
  • Assist with stock reconciliations and discrepancy investigations

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare routine logistics reports, dashboards, and performance summaries
  • Maintain documentation, audit records, and vendor-related paperwork
  • Support compliance with internal processes and standards

Stakeholder Communication

  • Liaise with stores, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues
  • Escalate exceptions or delays to senior team members when required
  • Ensure clear and timely communication across all stakeholders

Operational Support & Improvement

  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects
  • Follow up on action items and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide general administrative support for logistics operations

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or retail operations
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and logistics processes

Core Skills

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
