Ricardo plc is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Middle East Water practice. This role involves managing complex water projects, focusing on water strategy, policy, infrastructure, security, and climate adaptation for government and utility clients. The consultant will support the Middle East Water Director in delivering high-profile projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project life-cycle from proposal development to execution and close-out.

• Oversee project budgets, teams, and schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project progress and technical details.

• Conduct research and analysis, drafting project outputs and reviewing the work of others as necessary.

• Ensure quality delivery across projects, collaborating with team members and sub-contractors.

• Meet time, cost, and quality targets to ensure client satisfaction.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering, economics, project management, science, geography, or a related field.

• Proven experience managing complex water projects for government or utility clients.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality service.

• Stakeholder management skills, keeping clients and team members updated on project progress.

• Excellent numeracy, analytical, and writing skills.

• Fluency in English, with native Arabic proficiency.

• Strong skills in MS Excel and Word.

Desirable Competencies and Experience:

• Understanding of international water policy and Middle Eastern water sector regulations.

• Experience in water resource management or utility services.

• Project management certifications (preferred).

• Consultancy experience or customer-facing roles.

• Willingness to travel internationally for projects.
