Company Overview:
J10 Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational design and supervision consultancy. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a Senior Civil Engineer with a strong high-rise project background and experience in large-scale developments across the UAE and GCC. The selected candidate will join a Technical Office team overseeing complex high-rise construction in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections for structural and civil activities including foundations, concrete, steel, waterproofing, and precast elements.

• Verify contractor work against IFC drawings, approved shop drawings, and technical specifications.

• Review and provide approvals for shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and work samples.

• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, MEP, Architectural, and HSE teams to ensure multidisciplinary alignment.

• Monitor contractor progress and workmanship; issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) when required.

• Ensure site readiness and compliance during authority inspections and approvals.

• Supervise structural testing procedures (slump tests, cube tests, rebar inspections) per the project’s Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).

• Lead snagging/de-snagging processes during handover stages.

• Report regularly to the RE/Project Manager on site issues, risks, and technical conflicts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE working on high-rise buildings with luxury/complex finishes.

• Previous employment with a PMC or top-tier consultancy is mandatory.

• Deep knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and best practices.

• Proven ability to interpret and review technical drawings, shop drawings, and material specs.

• Strong on-site management experience including setting inspection protocols.

• Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and client-facing communication skills.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
