S&P Global is seeking a Senior Consultant for their Economics & Risk Consulting team, part of the Global Intelligence and Analytics (GIA) division. The role involves supporting clients across government and private sectors with data, research, and insights in macroeconomics, market and impact analysis, trade, supply chains, geopolitics, and operational risk.
You will be part of a highly skilled team delivering custom research solutions that combine specialized datasets, models, and methodologies, aimed at providing clients with unique insights. The work environment emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and flexibility as deadlines approach. You will manage multiple projects, assisting with econometric modeling, data analysis, and offering technical support to clients in industries such as energy, chemicals, finance, and manufacturing.
As the business grows across the Middle East, you will be involved in high-profile, multi-year projects, offering an opportunity to work with senior colleagues and expand your knowledge of the region’s business practices.
Responsibilities:

Support econometric modeling and forecasting, including data gathering, cleaning, and validation.

Conduct desk-based research on various topics as required by clients.

Identify external data needs and integrate them into existing data models.

Provide insights and technical support tailored to client needs and expectations.

Collaborate with senior colleagues to design technical approaches to complex problems.

Assist with project management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project milestones.

Present findings to senior stakeholders, including government ministers and C-suite executives.
Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Familiarity with statistical analysis programs such as E-views (preferred), R, Stata, and Python.

At least three years of experience in economic modeling and data analysis.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Intellectual curiosity, a collaborative attitude, and a resilient approach to project deadlines.

Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not essential.
