S&P Global is looking for a Senior Consultant to join their Economics & Risk Consulting team. The role will focus on delivering custom research solutions to clients across government and private sectors, analyzing macroeconomic, market, and geopolitical data, and providing insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support econometric modeling and forecasting, including data gathering, cleaning, and validation.

• Design technical approaches to client problems and communicate these clearly internally and externally.

• Lead analysis and reporting of insights tailored to client needs and expectations.

• Provide project management support, ensuring deliverables are correctly sequenced and executed.

• Work on a range of projects including economic transition planning, macroeconomic reform initiatives, and supply chain analysis.

• Collaborate with senior colleagues and present findings to high-level stakeholders, including government ministers and C-suite executives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s-level education in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields.

• At least three years of experience working on economic modeling and/or large datasets for delivering insights to clients.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Knowledge of E-views, R, Stata, and Python is advantageous.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.

• Fluent Arabic is preferred but not essential.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with geopolitical risk, trade, and commerce.

• Experience working on large datasets and providing consulting solutions for complex client needs.

• Intellectual curiosity, openness to collaboration, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
