Dubai Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Scientist to support laboratory operations, train staff, and ensure high-quality diagnostic services. The role involves supervising lab personnel, maintaining standards, implementing corrective actions, and contributing to the development and acquisition of new tests and technologies.
Responsibilities:

Inform Head of Unit about lab activities, concerns, and achievements.

Propose and implement approved corrective actions.
-
Maintain workload statistics, quality reports, and instigate audits when necessary.
-
Participate in recruitment, performance evaluation, and continuous education of technical staff.

Train and supervise new appointees, trainees, medical residents, nurses, and students.

Write and review policies, procedures, datasheets, and forms; ensure timely release of results.

Collaborate with other departments to maintain high standards of services.

Contribute to future lab development and acquisition of new tests/technologies.

Perform other duties related to specialty as requested.
Skills & Requirements:
-
BSc or Higher Diploma for UAE Nationals; Master’s or PhD for Non-Nationals.

DHA license required.

Experience:
-
UAE Nationals: 6 years
-
Non-Nationals: 5 years (PhD), 15 years (Master’s)

Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and clinical standards.
