SKM Air Conditioning LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join their procurement team. Initially based in Sharjah, UAE for training, the position will transition to a permanent role in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site role requires strategic purchasing expertise to support production schedules, vendor management, and material planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review purchasing requests to ensure accuracy in specifications and terminology.

• Generate and manage purchase orders to vendors.

• Follow up with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely material delivery.

• Coordinate with the Material Planner to assess inventory needs and place necessary orders.

• Maintain and update P.O. tracking and generate reports on purchase value, frequency, and supplier performance.

• Source new suppliers and materials in collaboration with Procurement Engineers and other departments.

• Ensure proper quotation comparison and procurement compliance.

• Track and report on supplier lead times, pricing trends, and order variances.

• Maintain master vendor lists, price lists, and resolve discrepancies with the QC department.

• Actively participate in team goals and contribute to procurement strategy execution.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms from vendors.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement reporting tools.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast trends and evaluate supplier performance.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to adapt to a multi-location operational setup.
