Shangri-La Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in sales, specifically within the hospitality industry’s leisure segment. The role requires a strategic thinker with proven sales achievements and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients, tour operators, and other key partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to grow leisure segment revenue.

Build and maintain relationships with DMCs & tour operators to identify new business opportunities.

Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
-
Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business through strong relationships.
-
Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and networking events.
-
Collaborate with internal departments for seamless execution of leisure bookings.
-
Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights to management.
-
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue potential.
-
Organize and conduct site inspections, and promote the hotel’s facilities and services.
-
Execute sales and marketing action plans to promote hotel promotions and activities.
-
Ensure a safe and environmentally friendly working environment.
Job Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the hospitality industry, specifically the leisure segment.

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Business Administration.

In-depth knowledge of the UAE market and culture.

Strong network in the travel and tourism industry.
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.

Strong strategic thinking and ability to implement strategies.

Proficiency in organizational planning and multitasking.

Knowledge of luxury market trends, digital distribution channels, and revenue management strategies.
